Death Juice
( The Rat's Road )
Vineyard name: ...A basement cellar.
This 'Wine' is not available for purchase, but there are several bottles at the event for tasting...
Wine Source: Ingredients foraged from the Shroud.
What is the color, aroma, tasting notes and finish of the wine? It's CLEAR. Just crystal clear, like water. And tastes like PURE alcohol. Stuff's 95% alcohol and not even wine, just evil moonshine that smells like your nostrils are burning, nose hairs curling up and falling right off and tears forming in your eyes. Any notes of the original ingredients are gone, it is just pure alcohol at this stage.
How is the wine aged? In a musty, dusty basement cellar.
What are good pairing options for this wine? A whole lot of water to dilute the alcohol. Or bread..

What is the color, aroma, tasting notes and finish of the wine? On the nose is a distinct, fresh cucumber aroma is the most prominent scent. A delicate and light body that is not overpowering, that is clear like a white wine. The primary tasting notes are of a fresh and crisp cucumber with a subtle undertone of melon and pear. The flavor is smooth, with no astringency, leaving the palate clean and ending with a smooth, pleasant finish. The sake makes for an excellent palate cleanser.
How is the wine aged? It is a Junmai Sake that undergoes a short-term aging process, typically lasting from six months to a maximum of one year. It is meant to be enjoyed young and fresh!
What are good pairing options for this wine? Complements sushi, enhancing delicate fish flavors without overpowering them. Also wonderfully paired with sweet fruits..
Life & Death Dragonfire Wine (Fall Season Limited Edition)
( Poison & Flame, Relics and Curios )
Vineyard name: Ceae Vineyards & Winery.
Multiple bottles are available for purchase. 30,000 (IC-only) gil per bottle. Price due to fire hazard risks.
Wine Source: Ceae Vineyards & Winery is located in Thanalan, in a carefully controlled environment amidst the desert heat. However, Life & Death is a fruit wine that uses ingredients home grown from Poison & Flames' gardens in the Lavender Beds.
What is the color, aroma, tasting notes and finish of the wine? The limited edition version of the Life & Death Dragonfire Wine is pumpkin orange. It has a fruity and spiced aroma, with floral and honey notes from acacia. The taste is bright, with tartness from peaches and pomegranate, leading to spicy warmth and a sweet but slight earthiness from ogre pumpkin. There is a medium-sweet finish with lingering heat and smokiness. Drinking will cause the imbiber to breathe fire temporarily and emit pumpkin shaped smoke rings.
How is the wine aged? The fruit wine underwent a fermentation process for a few weeks, then aged for a year inside acacia barrels, adjusting sweetness and racking as needed. Afterwards it was bottle aged for six months. It should be noted that this wine should be consumed within five years.
What are good pairing options for this wine? This wine is good paired with spicy and/or autumnal flavors, rich foods such as cream and cheese based pastas or soups, and roasted vegetables...
Three-Autumns Kumis
( Tribe )
Vineyard name: Malqir Tribe.
Six ceramic bottles with cloth covering, stamped with the Malqir tribe's emblem, are available for purchase. 9,000 gil per bottle. (Absolutely all IC gil of course.).
Wine Source: The Western Azim Steppe, from the herds of the Malqir.
What is the color, aroma, tasting notes and finish of the wine? Off-white colouration mostly opaque with watery translucency when in small enough quantities or near the corners of glass and Kumis. Aroma is sharp, buttery - the tang of alcohol is very strong over the milk-based background scent. Tasting notes are milk, acid, and sugar, the full body hides most of the milk behind the acid but the sweetness might remind of citrus fruits, though none are involved - like a blank-slate of citrus. The finish is long on account of the very high acid and alcohol content, and the wine comes close to a burn as in hard liquors, but its milk notes dull that, and shine in the finish, lingering like one just drank a glass of cold milk, which is aided by a deep breath after finishing - though be careful its high alcohol content doesn't make that breath dangerously intoxicating.
How is the wine aged? After fermentation as normal Kumis, the finest and milkiest offerings are sent to the elders for purification, where long-passed down Malqir techniques are employed in a process something like magically-enhanced distillation: normally, the alcohol content of Kumis would overrun the yeast and leave you with a weak alcohol with milky flavour, but for three years, starting with the Autumn three years ago for this particular batch of Three-Seasons (so named for the three years they take) Kumis, magic was employed to sequester the alcohol content away. After three years, the alcohol content in these drinks is high, and the magic sealing that content away and keeping the producers from being overwhelmed by it is woven into that cloth covering, so it gets stronger (with diminishing returns) until the very moment it is opened, and the sequestered alcohol infuses the whole.
What are good pairing options for this wine? A dessert drink almost certainly. This would pair with any lighter cake, or brink a milky sweetness to chocolate based desserts..
Kuqtceh Rnesgm'aa (Roughly, "Wine of the Golden Sun")
( Viv'aa Vim'aa )
Vineyard name: Ashwalk Vinehold - a small but hardy plot overseen by Viv'aa Vim'aa's desert suppliers, nestled on the edges of the Sagolii where cactus fruit flourishes. The name references the scorched trail left by drakes and travelers through the sands..
Limited quantities are available for sale after the tasting.
Glass (house pour): 90 gil
Bottle (500ml clay-sealed flask): 600 gil
Special Reserve (aged batch, stamped with Viv'aa Vim'aa logo, collector's jar): 1,500 gil (IC-Only.)
Wine Source: Thanalan, Sagolii Desert - cactus groves tended with careful irrigation and harvesting by hand to avoid damaging the delicate fruit.
What is the color, aroma, tasting notes and finish of the wine? A clear amber with faint rose undertones. The aroma is ripe prickly pear, honey, and desert wildflowers, with a faint mineral earthiness. The taste is bright and refreshing, starting with soft melon and nectar, opening to tart citrus and pepper spice. A subtle smokiness from the desert soil lingers. The finish is crisp, dry, with a tingling bite that fades into a spicy sweetness.
How is the wine aged? Fermented in small clay amphora sealed with wax, buried in shaded sand (and protected by drakes ). Aged for three to four moons before straining, which lends it a natural minerality and soft, earthy undertone.
What are good pairing options for this wine? Grilled or flame-roasted meats, particularly Aldgoat.
Roasted peppers, eggplant, or spice-heavy dishes.
Rich sauces (especially tomato-based, peppered, or smoky).
Can also function as a dessert wine, with citrus desserts, honey-flavoured dishes, or creamy cheeses..
Qiqirn Firewine
( Whorl of Charybdis )
Vineyard name: Summerford Seastead.
Multiple bottles are available for purchase. 5,000 (IC-only) gil per bottle. We are not responsible of any effects of the wine.
Wine Source: All ingredients, whether fresh or fermented, are sourced from La Noscea -- be it from the land or the sea.
What is the color, aroma, tasting notes and finish of the wine? The liquid is an emerald green color. The aroma is harsh -- the alchohol is strong -- but coming through are notes of butter, sugar, fresh cream and.. ..anchovies. Tasting notes are citrusy -- almost like a ponzu sauce, mixed with strong orange and lemon flavors. The finish is almost fishy, buttery, and leaves one perhaps more confused than satisfied.
How is the wine aged? Blended with a medley of fermented and fresh ingredients and fermented in the sun for a sennight, this beverage is not for the feint of heart.
What are good pairing options for this wine? This wine is good paired with strong tasting foods -- hearty cheese, gamey meat. Aldgoat meat in particular is the recommended pairing by the creators...

You think of it, its probably in there! (Bananas are not citrus)
What is the color, aroma, tasting notes and finish of the wine? The pure, thick juice is mixed with a few light spirits. This results in a solution giving off a golden glow that will have you fooled into believing you have finally graduated from being lower class, at least until it cascades down your pipes.
